I could see a lemon law case. Never done one but wouldn't think you'd need a lawyer. I believe someone else in here got a new truck this way.
Yea in New Jersey it’s best to get one you can file lemon law papers yourself but it goes faster with a lawyer. And thanks again for the advice. Also, does a rebuilt motor take away from the value of your car?
Yes, a new engine, or rebuild devalues it in most cases. Also, I would not bother getting another ecoboost. These engine horror stories are getting all too common now, so why risk it and put yourself through it again?
Can you explain to me the difference between the short and long block your referring to. I have a 2017 that had the cheap plastic oil pan replaced at 5k miles due to it leaking. 2 days ago, it was stuck in drive and wouldnt move. It threw an orange wrench light on the dash. Next morning started the truck to drive it to the dealer, orange wrench light is off, and it shifts smoother than it ever has. WTF???
It's not a fluke. These 3.5 ecoboosts are failing all over the place. Go to any Ford service center and you will see them piled up.
God is good, ford just called and they are giving me the option to repurchase or replacement in 3 to 5 days. Thank you guys for all the advice sincerely...
